Indiana University Why Not Both? Indiana University and Purdue University share a campus in Indianapolis (IUPUI). The pronunciation of its name (Ooey Pooey) did not reflect the two serious universities it represented. Nor did it imply that a degree from either or both of the universities was possible on the same campus. Collaborating with Indianapolis-based Hetrick Communications, Essex Two developed a marketing brand and a campus trademark to reinforce the unique relationship and benefits for commuters and residential students, as well as the continuing education opportunities for the city’s businesses and institutions.
